In many disciplines… industrial design, software engineering or storytelling (for marketing, movies/tv), a finished work that is effective, comprehensible, sustainable, honest, long lasting, beautiful, inspiring and engaging is always satisfying. Great product solutions focus on serving and helping the user; amazing brand experiences (in marketing, ux, xd etc) focus on telling a great, convincing story through various channels of how well a solution can serve. 

When creating solutions, product engineers focus on building something that is at least functional and works as intended. Storytellers and story developers focus on telling/shaping a story that is comprehensible by the intended audience. However, many amazing stories/solutions that work better than others often hinge on also satisfying end users emotionally and/or psychologically i.e. prioritising the users’ feeling/experience as much as core functionality and comprehension. This can often be through ‘form’ for tangible products, and in ‘delivery’ for services, software and stories. 

Met and exceeded expectations are satisfying to experience (imagine your favourite things and how well they work/made, designs you consider beautiful, movies/shows you don’t mind rewatching or inviting others to, ads that grip you with the right solution that inspires action). Wonderful work can drive behaviour in ways where it becomes the go-to choice and/or gets recommended to others. As people respond positively to it, word will spread, creating a ‘natural’ following that results in less effort from creators to convince or ‘sell it’.

Properly crafted, considered, honest solutions/services are usually worth the effort; to learn/build necessary skills/tools, apply the right processes, understand people’s true needs and create solutions that deliver. Achieving it of course has many components but the goal to satisfy beyond simple function/comprehension with a delightful experience is worthy and profitable.
